Hazrat Nizamuddin was a celebrated Sufi saint from the 13th century, revered to this day by Hindus and Muslims alike.

His dargah (mausoleum) today, constitutes a major cultural centre of Old Delhi, and boasts of some of the best qawwali performances. Surrounded on all sides by a thriving market (and delicious food), the dargah records a weekly footfall in tens of thousands of pilgrims and culture enthusiasts.
